Information technology for accounting, management and production |
|
 |
 |
CRIDON de Paris also has an impressive in-house computer network on which it produces the requested consultations, manages all oral and
written queries, and allocates them to the individual consultants. It
enables real-time monitoring of the different steps of
a consultation and assesses their cost. When a final answer has been
issued, it can be consulted on-line. Case progress can be
monitored instantly, with details of the actions that have been
completed (letter received, request for additional information,
partial answer, final answer, case follow-up, etc.). |
 |
It provides a mechanism for checking
the
consultants' production and keeping track of the work done by CRIDON
for a particular notarial office, a company, a regional council and
more generally, to be able to instantly answer any query related to its
activity, including deadlines. The in-house IT system also
stores all the documents, enabling them to be located where
necessary. Consequently,
when all the written queries to CRIDON are sent
by e-mail, CRIDON will have become 100% digital. The
accounting, management and production applications are
interconnected. |
|
The system also enables cases that have been processed for a given notarial office or notary to be located. |

The consultants fill in a time management form detailing their day's activities by periods of 15 minutes. |

The computer calculates the value of
each 15-minute period, given the hourly rate charged for the given
activity (consultation or documentation) and the identity of
the consultant. |
 |
On request, the
system is capable of
calculating the unit cost of an activity (the theoretical cost of
a case for example). This provides a basis for producing a cost
quotation in response to a written query. It can also establish for a
given, user-definable period of time the funds used globally for a specific consultant activity (cost of updates or
press analysis, committees, cost
invested in the preparation of or attendance at inter-branch
CRIDON meetings, cost of database updates, etc.). This enables the
authorities at CRIDON to organise their production work better
without losing sight of the necessary investments.

The IT system also enables a
calculation of the quantity and value of all the production work
at CRIDON for the member companies. It can also determine the type
of activity deployed in the same conditions, the disciplines
involved and the nature, oral or written, of the service rendered to the
member companies. |

It is also possible

displayed in the same conditions: these can be averages for
the pre-defined period, or the time dedicated to a given service. |
